Planning Ahead…
Our more organised clients started working with Simply Luxe on Christmas 2017 concepts back in the summer. Using our Studio, some of the worlds largest retail chains, cosmetics brands and luxury food companies have been creating product packaging, much of which we won’t see on the shelves for another twelve months. Orders are generally placed early in the new year, with finished goods arriving in warehouses around the world at the end of Summer, early autumn.
However.. those of us who prefer a little adrenaline with our packaging, now is not too late to deliver a little festive cheer with your packaging offer.

With manufacturing partners established in the UK, Continental Europe and North America, it isn’t too late to develop Christmas tissue paper for gift wrapping services in store or at your eCommerce warehouse.

Ribbon…
Simply Luxe have access to hundreds of stock shades of grosgrain and satin ribbon. Using our preferred partners we also fly in bespoke requirements in as little as 4 weeks. It’s a little late for pre tied solutions, so get practicing those perfectly symmetrical bows and invest in a pair of super sharp scissors.

Stickers…
Produced predominantly in the UK, but also at factories across Europe and Asia – stickers can be used to close envelopes and carrier bags, form part of a gift wrap pack or secure tags to holiday packaging. Producing a unique sticker as part of your seasonal packaging is easy – production takes as little as 1-2 weeks.
Stickers can be printed, foiled, embossed and die cut to virtually any shape or size
Folding Cartons…
Our UK factory at Simply Cartons is currently operating a 3/4 week production lead-time. This means if you are quick, you could have Christmas packaging in store for December. These pillow packs by Oliver Bonas are effective, cheap and very easy to produce. Twinned with some ribbon and stickers, they make a very normal purchase into something special. Alternative constructions can prototyped in our Studio.

Our conclusion is that although time is of the essence, if you are prepared to make some quick decisions, have your artwork and designs ready to go, then all is not lost when curating a range of holiday packaging that won’t look like it was put together just a week.
